Cloud Guard Tour System

Cloud-Based Patrol Management for Multi-Site Operations

1

Real-Time Patrol Data: Patrol readers can transmit patrol data to the cloud platform through 4G, Wi-Fi, or wired networks, reducing the time and manual effort required for data collection and improving the timeliness of patrol management.

2

Cloud-Based Remote Management: The cloud platform stores and processes patrol data online, enabling managers to access patrol information remotely across different locations and time zones. Mobile access through iOS and Android devices also makes it easier to check patrol results without being tied to a specific office or local server, reducing server setup and long-term maintenance costs.

3

Missed Checkpoint Alerts: The system can monitor scheduled patrol routes and identify missed checkpoints. When an exception occurs, the system can notify the responsible manager through the platform, mobile app, or email, and supported systems can also trigger an SOS alert.

Patrol Reader

The patrol reader scans RFID checkpoints and records patrol activities. Depending on the model, it can transmit patrol data to the cloud platform through 4G, Wi-Fi, or wired networks, allowing patrol records to be uploaded without requiring manual data collection.

Personnel ID Card

Personnel ID cards are used to identify individual guards and associate patrol records with the corresponding personnel. They are optional and are mainly required when multiple guards share the same patrol reader. Before starting a patrol, the assigned guard scans the personnel card, and subsequent patrol records are associated with that guard until another personnel card is scanned.

RFID Checkpoints

RFID checkpoints are uniquely coded patrol points installed at designated locations along patrol routes, typically on walls. Guards scan each checkpoint with the patrol reader as they complete their assigned routes, creating records of where and when patrol activities take place.

Cloud Management Platform

The cloud management platform stores and processes patrol data online. Managers can configure patrol routes, checkpoints, personnel, and patrol plans, as well as monitor patrol records and manage patrol exceptions without the need to maintain a local server. Authorized managers can also access patrol information remotely across different locations and time zones through a computer or mobile device.

Cloud Patrol Workflow

Configure Patrol Plan

Set up patrol routes, RFID checkpoints, personnel, and patrol schedules through the cloud management platform. RFID checkpoints are installed at designated locations along each patrol route, then assigned to the corresponding routes so that patrol activities can be checked against the planned schedule.

Step 1

Start Patrol & Scan Checkpoints

Guards begin their assigned patrols and scan RFID checkpoints with the patrol reader at designated locations. When multiple guards share the same reader, personnel ID cards are used to identify each guard. Models with fingerprint or face recognition can identify guards directly without a personnel ID card.

Step 2

Transmit Patrol Data in Real Time

As guards scan checkpoints, supported patrol readers transmit the patrol data to the cloud platform through 4G, Wi-Fi, or wired networks, allowing managers to see the latest patrol information in real time.

Step 3

Monitor Results & Receive Alerts

Managers can monitor patrol records and scheduled routes through the cloud platform. When a required checkpoint is missed, the platform can identify the exception and send notifications through supported channels such as the platform, mobile app, or email. Supported systems can also trigger an SOS alarm for urgent situations.
